14 May 2018 (Tokyo, Japan) – The preparations for SIGGRAPH Asia 2018 are in full swing and it is evident that Asia’s largest computer graphics and interactive techniques event is continuing its growth trajectory.

Before the exhibition early bird application closes on 18 May 2018 (GMT +9), Koelnmesse, ACM SIGGRAPH’s event organizer for SIGGRAPH Asia, has already received 54 percent bookings which constitutes 79 exhibition spaces out of the planned 150 exhibition spaces. This is expected to be the largest exhibition space in SIGGRAPH Asia’s history since 2008.

In terms of Sponsorship, Forum 8 has come onboard as SIGGRAPH Asia’s exclusive Platinum Sponsor, and Digital Hollywood University, Imagica Robot Holdings, Luminous Productions and Unity Technologies have confirmed their participation as SIGGRAPH Asia’s Gold Sponsors.

“We are very pleased to have SIGGRAPH Asia back in Japan for the third time since we started in 2008. The tremendous response we have received from our sponsors and exhibitors has already exceeded our expectations. We are expecting to sell out our space this year and predict this to be the largest exhibition showcase in SIGGRAPH Asia’s history. Besides Tokyo being an excellent location, SIGGRAPH Asia has significantly grown in the last couple of years and it has now become a must-attend addition to the calendars of many in the region. We are truly confident that we will have an excellent and cutting-edge showcase to present to our attendees this year!”, Shared Prakash Ramajillu, SIGGRAPH Asia Conference Advisory Group (SACAG)’s Chief Staff Executive.
